Radio show ‘Twang’ hosted their first gig of 2017 last Saturday at Signal Film and Media with critically-acclaimed Manchester-based band HORSEBEACH.
Last Saturday 15th April, Horsebeach packed out our Events Space to create the first night in a joint venture between CanDo FM’s radio show hosts Twang & Signal Film & Media and the first time we’ve ever hosted a live music gig to date! Our event space was taken over completely and brought a truly spectacular night of alternative music.

Our Events Coordinator Kezz Turner said: “This was a lovely event, the band were fantastic – beautifully ambient but psychedelic indie-rock. The support band Paloma Cafe were great and really did their best to warm up the crowd, which didn’t take much – especially with some glorious lighting effects, it really made for a special event!”
In addition to the main event, Radio show DJ’s Andy and Mal put together a grand set to kick off the evening and get everyone’s feet warmed up. There was also an official after party at The Drawing Room, where the Twang DJ’s kept the party going until the wee hours, with the finest selection of indie/alternative tunes.
Horsebeach’s third LP, Beauty & Sadness was released on March 17 so the gig featured heavily with tracks from their newest album. It featured some of their most polished work yet, but had all the textbook Horsebeach sounds intact.
Big thanks go to the sponsor for the evening: Raggz Clothing.
